What is letterpress printing…?

It’s an old school relief printing method where a raised plate (polymer, wood, or metal) is coated in ink and pressed into paper using a hand-cranked printing press. The result is a deep, textural impression of rich ink color into the paper; a tactile and unique experience in today’s digital world. It’s my preferred production method but of course, it’s not for all budgets and I am happy to work with digital printing too!

What if I don’t know what I want…?

It’s ok, it feels like every little decision you make for your wedding can make or break the whole event, and I may not be able to assist with every aspect but I can certainly help you decide what to do about your wedding stationery! Do you work with clients remotely?

Yes, my business is conducted entirely remotely and I’ve worked with clients from down the street and as far away as Australia.

What kinds of illustrations do you do?

My speciality is places (houses, buildings, etc.) but your wish is my command so hit me with your requests. Your wedding venue! A map of your wedding location! Your grandparents’ champagne flutes from the 1960’s! I don’t typically do people, but could be convinced.

Can I use your artwork for other parts of my wedding?

Yes and no. I can’t give you standalone artwork files for you to use freely, but if you would like additional pieces I would be thrilled to design those for you using your custom artwork and assist with the production process. I’ve done everything from cocktail napkins and koozies to coasters and matchbooks!

Do you offer à la carte wedding design services?

No; at a minimum I will do just invitations if that’s all you want but if you are looking for a standalone save-the-date or other additional wedding pieces, they must be requested as part of a suite.

What can I do to make my wedding suite stand out?

The world is your oyster! We can experiment with the shape of the invitation (it doesn’t HAVE to be a rectangle), the different pieces in your suite (how about a map? an RSVP coaster?), die cutting to give some dimension to your paper (T-Rex skull-shaped website card?), foil printing if we’re feeling fancy, edge-painting for a pop of color, duplexing with colored paper, custom envelope liners, and various bellybands/string/ribbons to tie it all together!

Do you offer assembly services?

Yes, I offer basic assembly for a flat $300 fee which includes stacking cards, tying ribbons or fixing bellybands, and stuffing envelopes. Your suite will arrive on your doorstep ready to be sealed, stamped, and mailed!

Do you offer calligraphy services?

Not right now, but maybe I will someday! If you’re looking for a more casual/imperfect handwritten element I might be able to work some magic - let’s discuss.

Do you do e-vites?

Not really; I can add digital options onto any package, I just don’t offer them as standalone products.

Do you design wedding websites?

No, but I can assist with design elements if your goal is to keep everything looking cohesive.
